NYCHA Free Job Training

We are pleased to announce that the NYCHA Resident Training Academy (NRTA) is now recruiting applicants for our March Pest Control Training Class. Successful graduates will receive job placement assistance for employment within NYCHA as Pest Control technicians.

The NYCHA Resident Training Academy is a partnership between the New York City Housing Authority, Robin Hood, and some of the best employment trainers in New York City.

In six weeks participants will gain:

Preparation for the New York State Pest Control Technician exam
30+ hours of Pest Control Training by a certified instructor
Customized skills training

To qualify, you must:

Be an authorized member of a NYCHA household
Have New York State Photo ID, issued by the DMV. A driver's license is not required
Be 21 years or older
Test at the 10th grade (Reading) and 9th grade (Math)
Pass a drug test and criminal background check
Be able to stand on your feet for eight (8) hours each day

To what extent has malware infected "secure locations" in the USA? How much malware comes from OFFICIAL USB drives plugged in by high ranking officials? Are some cheap foreign made computer pluggable items really Trojan horses themselves? Do government contractors deliver counterfeit parts with built in malware?
